In the port town of Cavebay, Zane, a mercenary, makes his wages by safeguarding merchant ships from pirates. After returning from one such job, he reluctantly agrees to help Sabine, the intriguing owner of the town’s local brothel, rescue a kidnapped girl from thugs who want something Sabine has.

 

As the rescue mission progresses and the layers of deception begin to unravel, Zane realizes the kidnapped girl is not an innocent pawn, but a link in a chain of lies surrounding Sabine’s mysterious past--a past that leaves them fighting for their lives.
